The clinical dashboard behind Byte+'s corporate-wellness program. Doctors and coaches use it to build meal and workout plans, run physical assessments and follow each employee's health data.
Byte+ runs corporate-wellness programs. Companies enroll their employees, who wear fitness trackers and get personal nutrition, training and medical follow-up. This dashboard is where the Byte+ clinical team does that work.
I've been the main front-end developer on it since April 2025. I built the nutrition system (servings → meals → meal plans), workout and exercise plans, the employee health profile with charts, the physical assessment module, and the tools that keep wearable data and exports under control.
Doctors and nutritionists were building plans and tracking hundreds of employees across spreadsheets. Body composition, blood tests and activity data lived in different places, so personal follow-up was slow.
One dashboard where the team builds reusable meals and plans, assigns them to employees in a few clicks, and opens a single profile that brings together body composition, blood tests, activity, assessments, surveys and doctor notes.
Build servings, meals and meal plans, assign them to employees and follow their health data.
Create workout and exercise plans, including KinesteX workouts, and run physical assessments.
Watch wearable sync status across companies and export employee data in bulk.
Create servings, combine several into a meal, and build day-by-day meal plans from meals (with rest days), then assign them to specific users.
One view with overview, body composition and blood test charts, activity metrics, survey answers, super foods and doctor notes.
Guided evaluations for neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, lower back, hip, knee and ankle, plus a VO2 max test, with stored results.
Charts of wearable activity with averages, day counts, days worn and span stats, plus manual activity input for corrections.
Exercises, workouts and workout plans, including KinesteX AI workouts, assignable per employee.
Flags employees whose wearable data stopped syncing, filterable by company and exportable to Excel.
Filtered exports of users and their data to Excel or CSV, scoped by company.
Challenge
Meal plans are made of meals, meals are made of servings, and each level carries its own macros and quantities. Doctors needed to reuse the same building blocks across many employees without plans drifting apart.
Solution
I mirrored that hierarchy in the UI: separate builders for servings, meals and plans, with drag-and-drop ordering of days and meals, and nutrition totals calculated with decimal precision at each level. Plans are assigned per employee, and edits to plan days save in order, with emptied days becoming rest days.
Challenge
Employees' trackers sometimes stop syncing, and averages over days with no data misled the doctors.
Solution
Activity charts show day counts and days worn beside every average, a Sync Flagger page lists employees whose data stopped coming in by company, and staff can add manual activity when a device fails.
